Saturday February 1st saw the Carlisle Diocese Mothers’ Union come together at Kendal Parish Church to welcome in the new triennium with our Bishop and New Provincial President, Christine Sharp.    In a packed church we sang with gusto as we reaffirmed our commitment to the aims of the Mothers’ Union, welcomed our new Trustees and Chaplain, the 7 new members enrolled and celebrated our desire to build God’s loving kingdom in Cumbria, through our acts and gifts of love.    We left feeling full of grace, our work and ourselves blessed by a loving father.
